Here is the first study that links global peace, health, and ecology to the sexual freedom movement and polyamory.  The book presents the concept of Gaia, the live planet, as the scientific basis to argue that the arts of loving can 'save the planet' because they are a form of the healing arts.  Therefore, the author asserts, the world needs a new politics of love where sharing amorous resources is a virtue.  Serena Anderlini-D'Onofrio, PhD, is a professor of humanities at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez.  She is the author of Eros: A Journey of Multiple Loves, and the editor of numerous collections.  She teaches courses, workshops, and seminars on the practice of love and the science of Gaia.
